About Matt Chilton

Avalanche Awareness presenter

Matt Chilton has been the voice of skiing on British Television for the last 15 years. As a regular contributor to Ski Sunday and Eurosport as both presenter and commentator, Matt's passion for, and knowledge of the sport is unrivalled.

Despite his Ski Racing commentary background, Matt has always been an enthusiastic off-piste skier and spends several weeks each spring pursuing his hobby, along with his wife and family.

Matt and Henry have been friends since the late eighties, when Matt was a barman at Dick's Tea Bar in Val d'Isere, which is where Henry gave his early avalanche presentations!

In 'When the Mountain Bites Back', Matt combines perfectly his skiing and television experiences, to deliver a compelling film.
